Upon our discovery call with Rainier beer, we learned that content from the 80’s still reigns most engagement from previous content Rainier had been using over the years. Therefore, we felt it necessary to create a winter campaign that looked retro and aimed to still connect with the 80’s vibe.
What better way to capture a classic PNW beer than a trip to the mountains for a ski trip?
An old log cabin felt on brand for a classic lager. However, we wanted to capture modern aspects within the campaign because the goal was not to replicate old content, but to incorporate modern aspects into a retro feel.
We received excellent feedback from Rainier’s marketing team following this shoot and are still awaiting KPI feedback!
We encourage brands to incorporate more lifestyle media into their websites and advertising. As we see it, showing people who use your product or service may be more important than showing the product or service to begin with.
