From the ground up.

  • R&D

    Jacobson Klein came to us looking to resolve one main issue: appear more in google. To kick off this project, we wanted to analyze their current site, research keywords that would have the greatest impact, and implement a plan to get JKI ranking within google as soon as possible.   • Design

    We began by creating a few rough templates for JKI’s team to select which was their favorite. We then incorporated elements specific to Jacobson Klein into the selected site before focusing fully on copy, imagery, and usability within the site. JKI was heavily involved throughout the entire process and received multiple revisions in order to achieve exactly what they were looking for.

  • Tracking

    Below you will see impact one week from launching domain. We spend time with every client following the website development phase to ensure that there continues to be forward progress.

Issues

Below is a screenshot of the old JKI site without images. When we did our initial sweep through, we immediately identified MANY issues that would affect the SEO and searchability of JKI.

  • H1 titles did not consist of any searchable relevant terms. Much of the text within all pages on site repeated and did not contain locations, relevant terms, or copy that would provide valuable information to potential users.

  • Many pages contained the exact same imagery, information, and format. There were also two site header bars stacked on top of each other with too many tabs options.

  • SEO had been severely neglected. There was no specific copy that would allow google to properly index pages or track where to place pages when searched for.

  • JKI relies on booking consultations as a way to build leads and develop lasting clients. There current form to book consults was allowing clients to book back-to-back and create conflicts in time management.

  • JKI voiced that they did not have much control over current site. Previous developers did not allow much room for company stakeholders to make adjustments and regularly update sites without going through developer.

Research

The biggest opportunity we saw for Jacobson Klein was to capitalize on geographical SEO and organic keyword searchability.

We spent a great amount of time in this phase researching what keywords were would render good search results relevant to JKI’s services and locations.

We also researched competitors’ sites to see what specific keywords JKI’s competitors were ranking for, where we could find keyword gaps, and where we could use similar keywords to boost search results.

Results

In the first week we saw the company name which was previously not indexing with google at all or showing up in the list of domains when searched, suddenly rise to the top.

We also begin to see keywords like “home builder maple valley” rank increasing visibility on these keywords by 47% within one week.
